What can you expect during an airline flight?

You will take your place at the first officer’s seat on my right and participate in a virtual, but very realistic, flight. In advance we will plan and discuss the SID and STAR (departure and arrival routes), as well as the airways en route during the so-called “briefing”. Then we will put the flight plan into the flight computer via a MCDU. We will fuel up, and start soon thereafter ...
... Now, guided by air traffic controllers (when available online), we will receive clearance to start and taxi to the runway. Soon we will accelerate on the runway, feeling the vibrations of the engines and the gears. After rotating, we will fly our route as entered in the flight plan in real time with real weather (with the help of a special weather program) and land at our destination airport in about one hour. Finally we will discuss our flight and any remaining questions.
